What is a Home Inspection?

This is why a professional Home Inspection is such a valuable investment. An analysis of the property conducted by a specially trained and completely objective inspector can identify non-functioning systems, damaged components, safety issues, and quality installations.

What we Inspect

At Broad Reach Home Inspections we offer the home buyer a non-bias, third party professional examination of a house's overall condition. This will include an inspection of the roof, foundation, grounds, interior, exterior, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.  It is the role of the home inspector to examine the house's present condition and note any maintenance issues, damage, and areas or conditions that may be a safety concern.

Pre-Sale Inspection

Broad Reach Home Inspections also offers a pre- sale inspection to sellers and listing realtors.  This will give you peace of mind knowing your listing will not reveal any problems which may result in the loss of a sale.  Having a home inspection at the beginning of the selling process can expedite the buying process making the whole transaction an easier experience for all involved parties.

Reporting System

Broad Reach Home Inspections uses the Matrix Deluxe reporting system.  This report is a field generated system that the inspector fills out as the inspection is being preformed.  This results in the client receiving the report immediately after the inspection is preformed.  In this report you will receive a three ring binder that contains easy to access reports.  The reports in the Matrix Deluxe are easy to read, illustrated pages that give the client detailed information about the house.  The Matrix Deluxe also contains and copy of the ASHI standards of practice and a " How to Operate Your Home" booklet.  These are very informative booklets that help clients better understand the "in's and out's " of a house.

The new Matrix Advantage is now available.  This report has all the same features as the Matrix Deluxe in color.
